Our focus isn't on fad diets that come and go.  We want you to be able to eat whatever you want.  Losing weight for most people is a simple math problem.  If "Calories from Food" is less than "Calories Burnt", you lose weight. Of course there are other obstacles and bad days.  We've all been there.  Doing this day after day after day with a few not so good days means you still see results.  We don't want you to starve yourself and we don't want you getting discouraged.  We want you to enjoy food and enjoy life. 

Everyone has a different reason to lose weight.  Write the reason down, check out our meal ideas and get started making a smaller version of you!  Keep your reason for losing weight where you can see it every day to help keep you on track. 

Our 1500 calorie daily goal 

Calorie counting gets a bad rap a lot of times, especially in the face of fad diets.  Truth is, it's tried and true.  Where are those fad diets?  :)

3X 500 calorie meals or 3X 400 calorie meals with 300 calories worth of snacks or mixing and matching is our goal.  Most men will typically consume around 2500 calories.  Most women around 2000 calories.  Cutting calories down to 1500 is a great way to lose weight safely while still enjoying foods you love.  Again, it's a math problem.  If you eat less calories than you burn up, you lose weight.  You may have some personal body limitations to this.  As always, before changing anything, consult with your doctor to make sure cutting calories is safe for you.
